The Regional Research Institute (RRI) was established in 2025 to improve equity in access to clinical trials for Australians living in regional and rural communities.
About Us
We provide local access to clinical trials and innovative therapies, allowing patients to participate in research closer to home while receiving care that meets national and international research standards.
RRI works in close partnership with study sponsors, investigators, clinical trial sites, and research participants to support the efficient and ethical delivery of clinical trials. Through these collaborations, we aim to accelerate research, expand access to novel treatments, and contribute to better health outcomes for all Australians.
By embedding research within regional communities, the Regional Research Institute is helping to reshape how and where clinical trials are delivered—bringing research opportunities to the people who need them most.
